Port Aventura and Salou

I went to Salou in May. It was a fam trip too, so I travelled with more travel agents. This time we were more people than in Ibiza’s fam trip. I have never been there, we spent one day in the park and two days in Salou.

Salou is located in Costa Daurada. It is a small town but in summer is very touristic because European people spend their holidays there. I like this city because of the beach and its climate. We visited some hotels in the zone and we went to party, of course!

The next day, we visited Port Aventura and two hotels of the park (there are four): Port Aventura and Gold River. I really liked the last one because it is themed like ‘Old West’. Afterwards, we rode in several attractions such as Shambala, Furious Bacco, Stampida, Tutuki splash and Dragon Khan. I enjoyed too much and I met new people very nice from Valencia, Pamplona, and Murcia.

That night was a match football between Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid. We had had dinner in a hotel located in La Pineda and the travel organizer hurried us up as she didn’t want to lose the match. Unfortunately, the organizer was fan of Atletico and they lost. Therefore, we had dinner with rush for nothing. While the match was finishing we rested for a while. Then, we went to different pubs and discos of the zone to have a good knowledge and sell to our clients.

It was my first fam trip and my first travel alone. I was so glad because I met great people and I lived a new experience.

Ibiza is not only party

I went to this island in June of this year. I couldn’t imagine that I would go this year. It was a fam trip that a wholesaler offered to the travel agency in which I was working. When I knew this island I realized that is not only the famous island of party. It offers a wonderful landscapes and sunrises.

I caught a ship from Denia to San Antonio port. It was the first time that I was in a ship and many of my partners had a bad experience because they were with nauseas almost all the trip. When we arrived at the port we went to the hotel. I had from my room amazing views of the coast and it was in front of the beach. We rested for a while until the dinner and after that we went to party. I didn’t meet anyone of the travel agents, who were travelled with me, but they were so nice and they came from different cities of the country: Albacete, Valencia, Sevilla, and Alicante. We had a great night.

The next day we had to visit different hotels (this is our job in fam trips). The idea is to know the place and accommodation for recommend the best one to your costumers. So we visited the main places in the island: Ibiza, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia. In my opinion, the last one is the most beautiful, Santa Eulalia offers you coves and beaches more wonderful than in other places of the island.

We visited Dalias’ Market, it is a hippie market very popular in the island but also expensive. I didn’t buy anything but I liked the environment of the place. After that, we went to the beach and we rested until the dinner and again to go to party. The following day we spent the day in Ibiza city, we visited four-star hotels in Playa d’en Bossa and then we spent the night in Ibiza port. Here, it is very different from San Antonio, people are so glamorous and beautiful, but in San Antonio there are only drunk people. It was the last night in Ibiza and we farewell very good.

It was an unforgettable experience. I say always the same but all of these experiences have been very different and I really enjoyed all of them.

Paris, oh la la

My new post is about another beautiful city, Paris. Who has never heard it or who doesn’t want to go? It’s one of the most important cities in the world. It’s the reference of fashion parades; its Tour Eiffel is the symbol not only of the city but also of the country.

I was lucky to visit in April of this year. I had so much fun with my friend. It’s one of the best holidays that I have never had. I could only spend few days there, but I visited many places and we did many different activities. The first thing that I saw when I arrived to the city was Arc de Triomphe, it stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle. The monument honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars.

After that, we went to Eiffel Tower and we rested in Champs de Mars. We met some people from different places Nigeria, Ethiopia, USA and they were very nice with us. The tower is very beautiful at night and the entire city as well. We really enjoyed that day meeting new people and places. The following day, we visited Notre Dame’s Cathedral, Louvre and Orsay’ Museum, you can´t lose them if you visit Paris. The sculptures, architectures and paintings are wonderful.

At the evening, we went out to party on Republic’s Square and we met new people too, this time French people and also they were very friendly with us. We visited Versailles´ Palace, it´s extremely striking! We couldn´t visit the palace because that day was closed, but we could stay in the gardens. They are the biggest that I have never been to. We went aboard on a tiny boat in a lake inside the palace buy we didn’t know how to row, so we stayed doing circles in the same place.

The last day, I visited Concorde’s Square and I walked through Champs Elysees, all the shops in this avenue were big and expensive too. It’s very long and there is many traffic because is the main avenue of Paris, it´s from The Triumphal Arch to Concorde’s Square. I also visited Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge.

I LOVE PARIS!

Gun ownership

  1. Gun ownerships are hazardous and insecure for humanity. In many countries, buying guns in black market is very easy, probability to have an accident is higher than people who do not have any weapon and gun’s licenses hardly ever are necessary.
  2. Buying guns in black market.
a.      It’s easy in countries of third world.
1.      Because of insecurity people who live in these countries need to buy guns and they can buy without problem in black market.
b.      Guns are cheaper if people buy in black market.
1.      Lower-quality guns are often worth $100 or $200 less than retail.

  1. Likely to have an accident.
a.      Gun ownerships have a high probability to be involved in an accident or even homicide.
1.      There are an amount of cases where children take parent’s gun and by accident they hurt or kill their sibling.
b.      Countries where police and citizens don’t have guns have less mortality.
1.      For example, in England police aren’t allowed to wear guns and they have a restricted law of guns.

  1. Gun’s licenses hardly ever are necessary.
a.      In many states of USA it’s not necessary to have a gun’s license you only have to be of legal age (older than 18 or 21 year-old).
1.      In the state of Alaska, a permit is not required to purchase a gun, own a gun, or even to carry a gun.
b.      Countries of South and Centro America, Africa and Asia.
1.      Argentina and Brazil are the only countries which ask a gun’s license. Otherwise, they are not demanding with this law.

  1. Conclusion

In summary, gun ownerships are dangerous because most people don’t have a permit to carry a gun and the countries that aren’t restricted with a gun’s law have more accidents with weapons.

Rome, dream come true

I visited Rome in the winter of 2013. I travelled with my mum and there we met a friend from our country (Colombia). It was an amazing holidays. Rome is a beautiful city in where you never can be bored.
The first place that we visited was St. Peter’s Basilica, which is huge and has the famous sculpture the Pietà of Michelangelo. We climbed until the dome and I loved the beautiful scenery. I took many pictures from there as I am a keen photographer and one of the photos that I really liked was from the dome and also from the outside of the Roman Coliseum at night.
We also visited the main squares of Rome and all of them are gorgeous. The sculptures of the squares are inspired on mythology and have fountains which are wonderful. I love Navona’s Square, there are three enormous fountains and many artists gather there.
This experience was unforgettable and we are going to repeat this city in December with some family that come from Colombia and I am sure we will enjoy much than the first time.

There are some pictures:

Corvera's airport

Corvera's airport, the second airport in Murcia Region, is still closed and this represents a waste of money for the Region. The main solution is that they should open the airport, otherwise it will have benefits and the government could start to pay the doubt. However, Corvera's airport intervenes in military air space. That means, the flights from Corvera's airport have to respect this space and the flights depend on control tower of San Javier´s airport. If this airport opens, it will represent competition to San Javier's airport, the main airport. Nowadays, this has scheduled flights to different cities of Europe. Also, many low-cost companies fly there because it is cheaper than other airports. In summary, Corvera's airport should open to pay economic doubt and not to be another ''ghost airport'' in Spain.
